“Each day provides its own gifts.”
Marcus Aurelius
Well, that’s it. It took all summer and a little of fall, but I managed to hike all the trails in Grand Teton National Park. It was a great season of new adventures, discovery, long conversations with friends and family, and many hours of solitude. And, many miles – about 300 of them over 25 hikes. I read four books (which is about four more than I read last year), listened to a dozen podcasts, created a website, wrote several words, discovered a new philosophy for life, and learned some things about myself. I set out to “live immediately,” and I did. I’m not sure if this experience was “life-changing” per se, but I hope it at least serves as a catalyst for more years of adventure, reading, thinking, and discovery. But if not, that’s ok too. It was a great summer.
Nice Job, Congrats on a mission well accomplished!
